Disk Management

You use Disk Management in Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003 operating systems to perform disk-related tasks, such as creating and formatting partitions and volumes, and assigning drive letters. On computers running Windows Server 2003 operating systems, you can also use Disk Management to perform advanced tasks, such as creating and repairing fault tolerant volumes. In addition, you can use the DiskPart command, along with other command-line utilities, to perform Disk Management tasks.
