Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Best Practices Analyzer scans computers in your network that are running the Lync Server 2010, Web Services to determine if applicable updates are installed. This includes Front End Servers, Standard Edition servers, and Directors. The reports generated by the scan indicate if an update is missing.
