Description

This reference provides cmdlet descriptions and syntax for Event Tracing Management-specific cmdlets. It lists the cmdlets in alphabetical order based on the verb at the beginning of the cmdlet.

EventTracManCmdlets Cmdlets

Add-EtwTraceProvider

Adds an ETW trace provider to an ETW trace session or AutoLogger session configuration.

Get-AutologgerConfig

Enumerates existing AutoLogger session configurations.

Get-EtwTraceProvider

Enumerates existing AutoLogger session configurations.

Get-EtwTraceSession

Enumerates ETW sessions on the system.

New-AutologgerConfig

Creates an Autologger session configuration in the registry.

New-EtwTraceSession

Creates an ETW trace session.

Remove-AutologgerConfig

Removes the named AutoLogger session configuration from the registry.

Remove-EtwTraceProvider

Removes an ETW provider from the ETW or AutoLogger session.

Save-EtwTraceSession

Saves the events collected by the ETW session to an .etl file.

Send-EtwTraceSession

Sends the log file of the specified ETW session to a destination.

Set-AutologgerConfig

Modifies an existing AutoLogger session configuration.

Set-EtwTraceProvider

Modifies a provider's enablement settings in an ETW or AutoLogger session.

Start-EtwTraceSession

Starts an ETW session with the specified name and settings.

Stop-EtwTraceSession

Stops the specified ETW session.

Update-EtwTraceSession

Modifies an existing ETW session.
