Enable-BgpRouteFlapDampening

SYNOPSIS

Enables route dampening for the flapping BGP routes.

SYNTAX

Enable-BgpRouteFlapDampening [-RoutingDomain <String>] [-Force] [-PassThru] [-CimSession <CimSession[]>]
 [-ThrottleLimit <Int32>] [-AsJob] [-WhatIf] [-Confirm] [<CommonParameters>]

DESCRIPTION

The Enable-BgpRouteFlapDampening cmdlet enables route dampening for the flapping Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routes.

EXAMPLES

Example 1: Enable BGP route flap dampening

PS C:\> Enable-BgpRouteFlapDampening -RoutingDomain "Contoso"
Route Flap Dampening engine is not configured. Do you want to enable dampening using the default configuration? 
(Y/N) Yes

This command enables BGP route flap dampening for the routing domain named Contoso.
