Checklist: Synchronize Data from AD DS to AD LDS

Applies To: Windows Server 2008

You can use command-line tools to synchronize data from Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to an Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS) configuration set. This makes it possible for your application to access objects that are stored in AD DS as well as objects that are created and stored in AD LDS. You cannot use these tools to synchronize passwords between directory services.
