Sends a test alert email.

Test-WssAlertEmail [ <CommonParameters>]




Detailed Description

The Test-WssAlertEmail cmdlet sends a test alert email. You can use this cmdlet to check that your current email settings are correct. This cmdlet sends an email even if there are no alerts currently on the system. You can use the Set-WssAlertEmailSetting cmdlet to change settings for alert email notification.

Parameters

Inputs

The input type is the type of the objects that you can pipe to the cmdlet.

Outputs

The output type is the type of the objects that the cmdlet emits.
