Resource Allocation Policy Properties
Applies To: Windows Server 2008
To view or modify the properties of a resource allocation policy after it has been created, in the navigation tree, right-click the name of the resource allocation policy, and then click Properties.

Change the order of process matching criteria evaluation |
On the Resources tab, in Allocate these resources, click the name of the process matching criterion, and then click the up or down arrows to change its position in the list.

Add a new resource allocation |
On the Resources tab, click Add. For more information about creating resource allocations, see Create a New Resource Allocation Policy. |

Edit an existing resource allocation |
On the Resources tab, click the name of the process matching criterion to which the resource allocation you want to modify applies, and then click Edit. For more information about editing an existing resource allocation, see Add or Edit Resource Allocation Dialog Box. |

Remove an existing resource allocation |
On the Resources tab, click the name of the process matching criterion to which the resource allocation you want to delete applies, and then click Remove. |

View the sub-allocation tree |
To see a hierarchical view of all resource allocations in the resource allocation policy, on the Resources tab, click View Tree. |

View or edit items that are dependent on the resource allocation policy |
On the Dependencies tab, you can see calendar events, schedules, and conditions that are dependent on the resource allocation policy. To edit a dependent item, in the Dependent items list, click the name of the item, and then click Edit. |
