Explanation

This Error event indicates that the Microsoft Exchange Transport Log search service couldn’t start.

Microsoft Exchange 전송 로그 검색 서비스는 Exchange 관리 셸의 Get-MessageTrackingLog 및 Search-MessageTrackingReport cmdlet, Exchange 제어판의 배달 보고서 도구, Exchange 관리 콘솔의 추적 로그 탐색기 도구 등에서 허브 전송 서버, Edge 전송 서버 또는 사서함 서버의 메시지 추적 로그를 검색하는 데 사용됩니다.

메시지 추적 로그의 위치는 Set-TransportServer cmdlet 또는 Set-MailboxServer cmdlet의 MessageTrackingLogPath 매개 변수로 제어됩니다. 기본적으로 메시지 추적 로그는 C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\MessageTracking에 있습니다.

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

• Verify the directory that is specified by the MessageTrackingLogPath parameter on the Set-TransportServer cmdlet or the Set-MailboxServer cmdlet exists and has the following permissions assigned:

  • Administrators: Full Control

  • System: Full Control

  • Network Service: Read, Write, and Delete Subfolders and Files

• Verify that the message tracking log files are not being used and locked by other processes, such as antivirus programs or backup programs.
