Certificate Request (Organization Information)

The Organization Information pane enables you to specify the name of your organization and an organizational unit (OU) (usually the division or department) that requests the certificate. The information that you type in the Organization and the Organizational Unit text boxes appears on the certificate and is used to identify who requested the certificate, when the certificate is viewed by others.

The OU name on a certificate is not necessarily the same as an OU in Active Directory 도메인 서비스. Depending on how you have configured Active Directory, the name that you use may or may not be the same.
