Change product numbers (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Product information management > Common > Products > All products and product masters. On the Action Pane, in the Maintain group, click Edit. Then, on the Action Pane, in the Maintain group, click Rename.
Use this form to change the numbers of products and product variants.

Enter the new product number. |
Apply change to product variants |
Select this check box to have the new product number reflected in the product numbers of product variants. Tip This option is only available for product masters. The product numbers of product variants reflect the number of the product master. If you select this check box, the change also applies to the product variants of the product master. |
