Delete sales history of update (class form)

Click Sales and marketing > Periodic > Clean up > Sales update history cleanup.

Use this form to delete old update history transactions. All updates of confirmations, picking lists, packing slips, and invoices generate update history transactions. You can view these transactions in the History on update form. You can delete history transactions that are generated with or without errors.

Tip

It is useful to delete the history of updates before you upgrade Microsoft Dynamics AX, because you then avoid occupying system resources that are needed more for updates of data.

Indicate what should be cleaned up. This can be history transactions with or without errors. You can select one of these options:

  • Executed

  • Executed and erroneous

Created until

Enter the date until which you want to delete existing history of update transactions.

Batch processing

Select to run the task as a batch job.

Caption

Enter a description of the batch job.

Batch group

Select a batch group to attach the batch job to.

Private

Select to make sure that only the user who ordered the job can run the job.
