Delete inventory journals (class form)

Click Inventory management > Periodic > Clean up > Inventory journals cleanup.

Use this form to delete posted inventory journals. This function is especially useful in connection with upgrading from previous versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX. Retaining a smaller number of old inventory journals is less demanding on system resources.

Movement

Select this check box to delete posted inventory journals of the type Movement. Follow this step to view existing journals of the type Movement.

  • Click Inventory management > Journals > Item transactions > Movement.

Inventory adjustment

Select this check box to delete posted inventory journals of the type Inventory adjustment. Follow this step to view existing journals of the type Inventory adjustment.

  • Click Inventory management > Journals > Item transactions > Inventory adjustment.

Transfer

Select this check box to delete posted inventory journals of the type Transfer. Follow this step to view existing journals of the type Transfer.

  • Click Inventory management > Journals > Item transactions > Transfer.

BOM

Select this check box to delete posted inventory journals of the type BOM. Follow this step to view existing journals of the type BOM.

  • Click Inventory management > Journals > Item transactions > Bills of materials.

Counting

Select this check box to delete posted inventory journals of the type Counting. Follow this step to view existing journals of the type Counting.

  • Click Inventory management > Journals > Item counting > Counting.

Project

Select this check box to delete posted item journals of the type Project.

Tag counting

Select this check box to delete inventory journals of the type Tag counting.

Fixed assets

Select this check box to delete inventory journals of the type Fixed assets.
