Tax information (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Human resources > Common > Workers > Workers. Select an employee. On the Action Pane, click Payroll tab > Tax information.

Note

This feature is not used with Payroll for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

This form is available only if the Payroll information configuration key is selected.

Use this form to record tax information related to an employee. This information is for reference purposes only.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field

Description

Start date

Enter the date when the tax information takes effect.

Tax card type

Select the type of tax card held by the employee.

Tax percentage

Enter the current tax rate.

Withholding tax

Select this check box to indicate that the employee is subject to withholding tax.

Non-withholding tax

Select this check box to indicate that the employee is subject to non-withholding tax.

Per month

Enter the salary amount withheld monthly from the employee.

Bi-weekly

Enter the salary amount withheld monthly from the employee.

Per week

Enter the salary amount withheld weekly from the employee.

Per day

Enter the salary amount withheld daily from the employee.

Country/region

Select the country in which the employee pays taxes.

State

Select the state in which the employee pays taxes.

County

Select the county in which the employee pays taxes.

Amount on exemption card

Enter the non-taxed salary amount.
