Click Human resources > Setup > Time and attendance > Payroll > Piecework.

Use this form to set up manufacturing execution features for piecework in production. The setup enables workers to make registrations on specific production orders or to make registrations in jobs in the Job registration form. Companies can then set up specific bonuses for these workers for a specific period of time.

Note

You can only use the piecework functionality if your company has set up time and attendance payroll features.

Tabs

Upper pane

Tab	Description
Overview tab	Create, delete, or edit piecework.
General tab	View information about the piecework setup selected on the Overview tab.

Lower pane

Tab	Description
Overview tab	Select the production jobs to include in the piecework setup selected in the upper pane.
General tab	View information about the production job selected on the Overview tab in the lower pane.

Fields

Field	Description
Piecework	Identification of the piecework setup.
Description	Brief description of the piecework.
Piecework code	Select whether the piecework is set up for a group or a specific worker. Note If you want to set up piecework for one or more groups, you must first create the groups. Click Human resources > Setup > Time and attendance > Payroll > Piecework groups.
Piecework relation	Identification of the group or worker.
Rate	The hourly rate to be paid if the quantity of items in the piecework setup has been processed on the estimated time.
Pay type	The pay type that will be used when transferring the calculated pay. This pay type also functions as the minimum pay. The rate for the piecework can never be lower than the rate of this pay type.
Closed	Select to deactivate the piecework. This means that pay can no longer be calculated on this piecework setup.
Production	Identification of the production order to be included in the piecework.
Job identification	Identification of the production job that is included in the piecework. Note Make a selection in this field if only part of the production order is included in the piecework.
Oper. No.	Identification of the operation to be included in the piecework. Note Make a selection in this field if only part of the production order is included in the piecework.
Rate	Calculated rate after the piecework production has been completed.
Production qty.	Total number of items produced on this piecework setup.
Time	Total of hours registered on this piecework setup.
