Create mass hire positions (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Human resources > Periodic > Recruitment > Mass hire projects. Select a mass hire project with the status of Open. On the Project positions FastTab, click Create positions.
Use this form to specify information that is common for all workers and positions that you want to create by using a mass hire project. You can modify this information only if the mass hire project has a status of Open. In the Mass hire projects form, the status is displayed in the Status field on the Project details FastTab.
Open an existing mass hire project
Click Human resources > Periodic > Recruitment > Mass hire projects.
Select a mass hire project.
Click Open project.

Project start |
Enter the date when the mass hire project starts. |
Project end |
Enter the date when the mass hire project ends. |
Quantity |
Enter the quantity of mass hire project positions to create. When you hire people for the mass hire project positions, worker and position records are created. |
Personnel field group |
Specify the starting value, interval, and format for the personnel numbers. This information is used to create personnel numbers for each worker record in the mass hire project. For example, you want to create personnel numbers that use the following pattern: SW-0000, SW-0005, SW-00010. To do this, enter 0 for the starting value, 5 for the interval and SW-#### for the format. Note If a number sequence code is specified for the personnel number reference in the Human resources shared parameters form in the Number sequence area, you cannot modify the information in these fields. |
Positions field group |
Specify the starting value, interval, and format for the position. This information is used to create position ID numbers for each position created in the mass hire project. For example, you want to create position IDs that use the following pattern: 001-Act, 002-Act, 003-Act. To do this, enter 1 for the starting value, 1 for the interval and ###-Act for the format. Note If a number sequence code is specified for the position reference in the Human resources shared parameters form in the Number sequence area, you cannot modify the information in these fields. |
Worker type |
Select the worker type to assign the workers to. |
Job |
Select the job to create worker records and positions for. |
Department |
Select the department to create worker record and positions for. |
Description |
Enter a description of the position. |
Full-time equivalent |
Enter an employment factor for the workers. The value 1 indicates full-time employment. Use a number between 0 and 1 to indicate part-time employment. |
