History (form)

Click Organization administration > Common > Number sequences > Number sequences. Select a number sequence and then click History.

Use this form to view the history of a number sequence, such as when the sequence was created and when it was modified.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Overview

Displays an overview of the history of the selected number sequence.

General

Displays additional information about the selected update of the number sequence.

Action

The action that was performed on the number sequence.

Modified date and time

The date and time that the record was modified.

User

The person who modified the record.

Smallest

The smallest value that can be used when numbers are automatically generated for the number sequence.

Largest

The largest value that can be used when numbers are automatically generated for the number sequence.

Next

The next value that is being used when numbers are automatically generated for the number sequence.

Stopped

A selected check box indicates that the number sequence has been stopped.

Continuous

A selected check box indicates that the number sequence is continuous.

Clean up

A selected check box indicates that the list of available numbers is cleaned up when a new number is generated for the number sequence.

Manual

A selected check box indicates that manual entry is required. Numbers cannot be generated automatically.

Lowest - before update

Before the record was modified, the smallest value that could be used when numbers were automatically generated for the number sequence.

Highest - before update

Before the record was modified, the largest value that could be used when numbers were automatically generated for the number sequence.

Next - before update

Before the record was modified, the next value that could be used when numbers were automatically generated for the number sequence.

In use

A selected check box indicates that the number sequence is being used.

To a lower number

A selected check box indicates that users can change numbers that were automatically generated to a lower number.

To a higher number

A selected check box indicates that users can change numbers that were automatically generated to a higher number.

Interval

The interval, in hours, at which the number sequence is cleaned up.

Preallocation

A selected check box indicates that numbers are preallocated in system memory.

Quantity of numbers

The quantity of numbers that are preallocated in system memory.
