Split period

Split a period.

Sometimes, you might need to split a period. For example, Wednesday, February 29, 2012, was the last day of the month. It would be reasonable to split the week so that one part consists of Monday and Tuesday, and another part consists of the remaining days of the week starting with Wednesday.

The Split period dialog box displays a suggested split date. If necessary, edit the Split on date field so that it contains the last day of the month, and then click OK. An extra line covering the remaining days of the period appears.

Note

If a period is applied by a subscription group, the period cannot be split.
