Inventory transaction posting (form)

Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Transactions > Postings.
Use this form to view inventory transactions that have been physically or financially updated in General ledger.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

View ledger posting and posting account details. |
Financial dimensions |
View information about financial dimensions, such as the default dimensions and where the dimensions are used in account structures and advanced rule structures. |

Open the Inventory transactions form, where you can view all fields on the related inventory transaction. |
Fields

Description |

Item number |
The item number that is involved in the transaction. |
Lot ID |
The lot number that is attached to the transaction. |
Date |
The date on which the record was posted in the ledger. |
Voucher |
The voucher number that is used when the record is posted in the ledger. |
Type |
The posting type, which can be either Physical or Financial. |
Posted |
If this check box is selected, the voucher has been physically posted in General ledger. If the check box is cleared, the voucher has been physically updated. For more information, see the Type field. |
Project ID |
The project that generated the inventory transaction. |
Profit and loss, posted amount |
The cost value for the quantity that is used in the transaction. |
Posting type |
The posting type that is associated with the account in the ledger. |
Offset account transaction type |
The posting type that is associated with the offset account in the ledger. |
Ledger account |
The ledger account that is used. |
Offset account |
The ledger offset account that is used. |
Default financial dimensions |
The default financial dimensions for the main account. When you select a financial dimension value, the Where the %1 dimension is used field group displays where the dimension is used in account structures and advanced rule structures. |
Where the %1 dimension is used |
The account structures and advanced rule structures that use the financial dimensions that you selected in the Default financial dimensions field group. Note The name of the field depends on the selection in the Default financial dimensions field group. |
