Pallet transport handling (form)

This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Warehouse management module.

Click Inventory management > Inquiries > Item handling > Pallet transport handling.

Use this form to check the status of pallet transports, update the status, and to obtain an overview of pallet transports.

Functions

Open a menu with the following items:

  • Activate transport – Release the pallet transports.

  • Change destination location – Change the location where the pallet is delivered.

  • Cancel transport – Cancel a pallet transport.

Fields

Field

Description

Pallet ID

Displays the pallet affected by the transport.

From warehouse

The warehouse where the pallet is to be taken from.

Pickup location

Displays the location where the pallet is to be taken from.

To warehouse

The warehouse where the pallet is to be delivered.

Destination location

The location where you want the pallet delivered. This can be different from the location in the To location field; for example, where a pallet is received on one side and picked on the other side.

Type

The type of transport in question.

The following options are available:

  • Input transport – Indicates that a pallet will be moved from an inbound dock to either a bulk location or a picking location.

  • Output transport – Indicates that a pallet will be moved from a bulk location to an outbound dock.

  • Refill – Indicates that a pallet will be moved from a bulk location to a picking location.

Handling status

Status of the pallet transport.

The following states are available:

  • Registered – Pallet transport has been reserved in the Shipments form but not yet released for consignment.

  • Activated – Pallet transport has been released for consignment but has not begun yet.

  • Started – Pallet transport has started but is not finished.

  • Complete – Pallet transport is complete and the pallet has been delivered.

Pallet transport

Identification of the transport.

From height

Height of the location where the transport starts.

To location

The location where the pallet is found after the transport is completed. This can differ from the destination location.

To height

Height of the location where the transport ends.

Worker

The operator or driver who is performing or has performed the pallet transport.

Forklift ID

The forklift that started the transport.

Activation date

The date on which the transport was released for consignment. This field is filled in automatically.

Start date/time

The date and time on which the transport was started. This field is filled in automatically.

End date/time

The date and time on which the transport was completed. This field is filled in automatically.

Priority

Priority for the transport. Use this function to present the transports with the highest priority to the drivers first.

Shipment

The shipment that an output transport is associated with.

Quantity

Sum of quantities from the accompanying lines. This field is filled in automatically. You can use the function as a quick way to check that the pallet is intact before you start the transport.
