Financials (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Prospects > All prospects. Select the prospect record for which you want to review financial data and then on the Action Pane, on the Prospect tab, click Financials.

Use this form to view an overview of general financial data for the prospect. The invoice totals that are displayed in the form do not include tax amounts.

Note

The values in the Budget, Estimate, Potential, Probability %, Date, and Total turnover fields are entered manually. They are not calculated by the system. The values in these fields represent the expected sales value of the prospect.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Start date

Select the period type and corresponding start date for reviewing the selected prospect’s financial transactions.

End date

Select the period type and corresponding final date that you want to review the selected prospect’s financial transactions.

Update financials

Update the financial information in the form. Financial information in the form is not updated by default because system performance may be decreased if there are many registered prospects.

Total invoiced

The total revenue that is registered for the prospect.

Date of update

The last date when the financial information was updated by clicking the Update financials button.

Budget

Enter the total revenue that is budgeted for the sales personnel attached to the prospect.

This amount can be used as the actual sales budget for the prospect.

Estimate

Enter the total revenue that is expected for the prospect.

This amount can be seen as adjusted sales budgets, based on actual and expected sales performance.

Potential

Enter the potential maximum revenue that the prospect can be expected to generate.

This amount can be seen as the total potential sales value of the prospect.

Probability %

Enter the estimated probability of obtaining the revenue that is specified in the Potential field.

Ideally, the value in the Potential field adjusted by the value in the Probability % field equals the value in the Budget field.

Date

Enter the date that the information in the Potential group was last updated.

Total turnover

Enter the total turnover for the prospect.
