Product Builder approval (form)

Warning

The prerequisite for accessing this form is to have a modeling enabled item on a sales order. Information displayed on the form depends on the product model setup.

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders. Double-click a sales order > Select a modeling enabled item > Click Product and supply > Configured item. Click OK.

Use this form to view the details of the configuration before giving final approval. You can approve the configuration here, cancel it, or return to editing it. You can also calculate delivery date and sales price in this form.

Note

We recommend that you do not use this form, because it is being officially deprecated and may be removed, and may not be available in future versions of Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Note

It is possible to skip the product model approval while configuring the item. You can do this by selecting the Hide approval dialog check box in the Released product details form.

Calculate price

Start price calculation if the system has not been set up to calculate the item sales price automatically.

Note

This button will not be visible if the Automatic price calculation check box in the Product Builder parameters form is selected or if price combinations are used to calculate the sales price.

Calculate ship date

Start ship date calculation if the system has not been set up to calculate the ship date automatically.

Note

This button will not be visible if the Automatic calculation of delivery date check box in the Product Builder parameters form is selected or if the item is being configured from the quotation lines.

Go back to editing the configuration.

The sales price of the configured item.

Confirmed ship date

The date on which the configured items can be shipped.
