Route versions (form)

Click Production control > Common > Routes > All routes. On the Action Pane, click Route versions.

Use this form to view all existing versions of the selected route. You can create new routes, approve existing routes, make route versions active, and define their valid dates.

Create route versions

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Create route

Open the Route form, where you can view or change information about the operations in the selected route.

Create route

Create a new route. You can also copy an existing route and use it as the starting point for creating the new route.

Approve

Open the Approved by form, where you can approve the route. You must select the worker who approved the route.

Activation

Activate the route version for the selected bill of materials (BOM) version.

Route feasibility

Verify that the operations resources can satisfy all resource requirements for all operations on a selected date.

Description

Route number

The route number for the selected route.

Name

The name of the selected route.

Item group

The item group that is assigned to the route.

Approved by

The person who approved the current route version. To open the Approve version form, click the Approve button on the Versions FastTab.

Approved

A selected check box indicates that the selected route version is approved. A route version must be approved before being activated and used.

Configuration

The configuration assigned to the selected item.

Size

The size dimension for the item.

Color

The color dimension for the item.

Site

The site where the production occurs.

From date

Select the date when the route version becomes valid. This date is used to manage multiple route versions.

To date

Select the last date that the route version is valid.

From qty.

Enter the minimum quantity that is valid for this route version. When generating orders, the system selects a route version based on this value and other criteria that you specify. If you leave the field blank, this route version is valid for all quantities. Note that route scrap is not considered when a route version is selected.

Active

A selected check box indicates that the route version is active.
