Materials (form)

Click Production control > Inquiries > Job list. In the Job list form, click Materials.

Use this form to see the following:

  • Materials that are used by the operation that is associated with the selected job transaction.

  • Materials that are used by every operation that is included in the production order.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Operation

View materials that are used in the operation that is associated with the selected job. You can select the item number from the existing list, or enter it manually. You can also check the estimated consumption, the quantity that was delivered, and the actual physical quantity that is available for current inventory dimensions.

Complete

Check the status of the material that is used in every operation in the production order for the selected job. You can view information such as the item number, the estimated consumption, the quantity of items that were delivered, and the physical quantity that is available for current inventory dimensions.

Description

Oper. No.

Defines where this item is used in the production sequence.

Item number

Products that are consumed in the production. The Product type can be Item or Service. The same item number can appear in the production's BOM multiple times.

Product name

A descriptive name of the product.

Estimated

The cost estimated quantity of items, defined in the inventory unit, that is included in the production. The consumption is calculated when estimation is run.

Released

The quantity of the item in the inventory unit that has been released to production.

Available physical

The quantity that has not been reserved and that is available from the physical inventory.
