Currency converter (form)

To open this form, click the currency code link on the status bar in the Microsoft Dynamics AX workspace. The currency code link displays the legal entity’s accounting currency code, such as EUR or USD.

Use this form to display financial information in a currency other than the accounting currency.

Example

  1. Click the currency code link on the status bar in the Microsoft Dynamics AX workspace.

  2. To display the transaction amounts in another currency, double-click that currency code.

  3. To redisplay the transaction amounts in the accounting currency, click Reset.

Select the date for which to use the exchange rate from the currency exchange rate table.

Currency

The code for the selected currency.

Name

The description of the currency.

Prefix

The text to be printed before the amount in the selected currency.

Suffix

The text to be printed after the amount in the selected currency.
