Create campaign (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Campaigns > All campaigns. Click Campaign.

Use this form to create a new campaign.

Create campaigns

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Status

Select the status of the new campaign. The following options are available:

  • Planning – The campaign has not yet started, and it is assumed that activities for the campaign are currently being planned.

  • In process – Activities for the campaign have started and are running.

  • Response – The campaign has been broadcast, and responses are expected.

  • Follow-up – The campaign is over, but the responses from the campaign must be acted on.

  • Closed – The campaign has been closed. Typically, a campaign is closed after it has finished running.

  • Canceled – The campaign has been canceled by the employee, typically before the campaign is set to end.

Campaign ID

The campaign that you created.

Type

Select the type of campaign that you are creating.

Group

Select the group that is in charge of the campaign.

Target

Select who the campaign is targeting.

Name

Enter the name of the campaign.

Subcampaign ID format

Select the format of the campaign.

Questionnaire

If a questionnaire should be used in the campaign, select the questionnaire.

Start date

Enter the date that the campaign starts. By default, the start date is the current date.

End date

Enter the date that the campaign ends.

Source code

Optional: Enter a catalog source code to associate with the campaign. If you enter a source code, you can choose to import the customer list for the target market that is associated with the source code.

Note

This field is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed, and if the Call center and Source code configuration keys are enabled.
