Send quotation (class form)

Click Sales and marketing > Periodic > Quotation update > Send quotation.

Click Project management and accounting > Periodic > Quotations > Send quotation.

Use this form to send a sales quotation with the status Created and to update the status to Sent.

The sales quotation cannot be edited once it is sent to a customer.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Select whether the sales quotation is to be printed in the Print quotation check box.

Printing in this context means generating visible output, such as printing to the screen, a text file, an e-mail, or a physical document.

Define the level of credit limit checking when invoicing the sales quotation.

Expiration date

Calculated or inserted expiration date.

Quotation

Quotation identification.

Prospect

Customer or vendor account number.

Use this extended data type (ExternalAccount) to create customers and vendors. Alphanumeric characters are allowed.

  1. Enter the length of the longest possible account number.

  2. Select between Left adjusted and Right adjusted.

Customer account

Customer or vendor account number.

Use this extended data type (ExternalAccount) to create customers and vendors. Alphanumeric characters are allowed.

Name

Description of the quotation.

Currency

Current currency code.

Date of update

Transaction date.

Quotation

Identifies the quotation.

Item number

Unique user-defined code that is assigned when items are created. We recommend that you not use special characters or spaces in the item number.

Item numbers can be system generated by linking the item number to a number sequence.

Quantity

Number of sales units.

Net amount

Line amount including discount.
