Temporary files (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click File > Command > Document handling > Inquiries > Temporary files.
Use this form to view the temporary files that are in use, but that are not yet written to the database.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Overview |
View information about the document reference. When a file is in use and cannot be saved or deleted, it is locked. |

View information about the selected file. |

Update all |
Save all unlocked or closed temporary files in the database. The Auto-save or Autodelete check boxes must be selected on the General tab. |
Save file |
Save the selected temporary file in the database. |

The description of the temporary file. |
Locked |
Indicates if the selected temporary file is locked. |
Auto-save |
Select this check box if the file should be saved to the database automatically when it is unlocked by the system. |
Autodelete |
Select this check box if the temporary file should be deleted automatically when it is unlocked by the system. |
File name |
The path and file name of the attachment to the document reference. |
