Working time calendars (form)

Click Organization administration > Common > Calendars > Calendars.
Use this form to create one or more calendars to manage working hours that are used in operations resources. Working time calendars define the amount of capacity and work time in the production system. Calendars must be set up before you create operations resources. When you create an operations resource, you must specify the working time calendar to use when calculating capacity for operation resources.
A calendar can inherit working time settings from another calendar. If you create more than one calendar, we recommend that you create a base calendar first. You can then assign the base calendar to other calendars. If you change working times in the base calendar, changes are reflected in all related calendars. However, if you make changes to individual calendars, the changes do not affect the base calendar.

Enter a name for the calendar. The name is shown in the list when you select a calendar. |
Base calendar |
Select a base calendar. The selected calendar inherits settings from this base calendar. When the base calendar is updated, the selected calendar inherits operation times from it. Note The operation-times template that is defined for the update controls the update. You can clear the base calendar selection when you update operation times. |
Standard work day in hours |
Enter the number of working hours in a standard workday. |
