Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click General ledger > Setup > Posting > Liquidity.

Use this form to enter and view the main accounts that are used to calculate the various currency amounts that are required today and in the future.

The calculation of currency requirements requires that you set up both liquidity accounts and cash flow forecasts. These project the flow of incoming and outgoing payments. The Cash flow forecasts form can include information that is retrieved from various sources, such as sales orders, purchase, orders, inventory management documents, and general ledger. This information includes posted transactions, source documents, budgets, and forecasts.

Note

Calculate the current and future liquidity in various currencies in the Currency requirement form. This is based on expected balances in the cash flow forecast.

To print a cash flow statement that has balances that include liquidity forecasts, use the Financial statement (traditional) form to create a cash flow forecast, and then print the financial statement report.
