Configuration creation (form)

Click Product information management > Common > Released products. Select a product. On the Action Pane, click Engineer tab > Configuration group > Maintain configurations > Configure button. Select a configuration combination and click OK.
Use this form to approve the configuration that you created in the Configure form.
Note
To use this form, Manual must be selected in the Setup field group for Configuration in the Number sequences form.
The form is divided into two sections:
Upper pane: Variations of each configured item. The item number is indented according to the position of the item in the BOM hierarchy.
Lower pane: The configurations for each variation.
All configurations in the upper pane must have a variation. If they do not, specify a new configuration ID, and optionally, enter a description that will help you select the combination later.
After you have specified configurations and descriptions, click OK. The various configuration combinations are created, and the configuration for the first item is transferred to the field where the configuration was initiated.
The configuration number voucher series is updated in the Number sequences form.

The variation of the configured items. If the field is empty, the variation does not exist, and you should enter a new variation. |

The variation of the current item. If the field is empty, the variation does not exist and a new one will be created with this configuration ID. |
