Trace inventory dimensions (class form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Inventory management > Periodic > Transfer orders. In the lower grid, click Inventory, and then click Trace.
Use this form to track inventory dimensions in one window. The resulting form shows related receipts and issues for a transaction as a tree-graphic.
Navigating the form
The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.
Fields

Date check |
When this check box is selected, only transactions that are in the correct sequence are shown. For example, transactions where the date of the receipt is later than the date of the issue are not shown. |
Physical date must be specified |
When this check box is selected, only transactions that are physically updated are shown. For example, a transaction from a transfer order is not shown unless the transfer order is shipped. |
