Explosion - set up display (form)

Click Master planning > Common > Planned orders. Click Edit in grid, and then on the View tab, click Explosion. In the lower pane, click Setup.

Use this form to configure the tree structure display of data on the Overview tab of the Explosion form.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

The tabs and controls that were added to this form for the Warehouse management features in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 are not described in this topic. For information about these features, see Warehouse management.

Fields

Field

Description

Product name

Select this check box to display the item name.

Item number

Select this check box to display the item number.

Req. quantity

Select this check box to display the requirement quantity.

Coverage planned

Select this check box to display the quantity allotted for the transaction.

Requirement date

Select this check box to display the requirement date.

Order date

Select this check box to display the latest starting or order date.

Futures date

Select this check box to display the futures date.

Number

Select this check box to display the reference number.

Reference type

Select this check box to display the reference type.

Configuration

Select this check box to display the inventory levels per configuration.

Warehouse

Select this check box to display the warehouse.

Batch number

Select this check box to display the batch number.

Location

Select this check box to display the location.

Pallet ID

Select this check box to display the pallet ID.

Serial number

Select this check box to display the serial number.

Size

Select this check box to display the Size dimension.

Color

Select this check box to display the Color dimension.

Site

Select this check box to display the Site dimension.

Show delay

Select this check box to display the delay graphically.

View graphics explanation

Select this check box to display text descriptions of the symbols that are used in the tree structure.

View format explanation

Select this check box to display text descriptions of the information you choose to display.

Show

Select the level of detail to display in the Gantt chart.
