Use this form to create internal reports, and also to create the final annual report.

Create new fiscal LIFO (Last In, First Out) journals, and view the list of journals.

General tab

View and enter specific information about the selected journal.

Blocking

See whether the journal is being used. Also see whether the journal is for the private use of an individual user or a user group.

View the lines that were calculated for each fiscal LIFO group.

Calculate lines

Calculate the fiscal LIFO lines.

Log

View information about any issues that occurred during the calculation.

Delete lines

Delete all journal lines that you created in the selected journal.

Print

Print the fiscal LIFO report.

Fields

Field

Description

Name

The name that you want to use for the journal.

You set up default journal names for internal and final reports in the Internal fiscal LIFO and Final fiscal LIFO fields on the Journals tab of the Inventory and warehouse management parameters form.

Start date

The starting date. The starting date is entered automatically when you create a new journal. It is always the first day in the fiscal year. This field cannot be changed.

End date

The ending date. The ending date is entered automatically when you create a new journal. In a journal for an internal report, the ending date is the current date. In a journal for a final report, the ending date is the last day of the fiscal year. This field can be changed for an internal report, but it cannot be changed for a final report.

Include work in progress

Select this check box to include work in progress in the calculation of fiscal LIFO. For more information about work in progress in fiscal LIFO calculations, see (ITA) About the calculation engine.

Use normal value

Select this check box to include normal value in the calculation of fiscal LIFO.

You select the options for the calculation of normal value in the Normal value calculation field on the General tab of the Fiscal LIFO reporting group form.

In use

The journal is being used.

Used by user

The user who opened the journal.

Private

Select this check box to exclude other users from using the journal.

Journal

The identifier of the journal name.

Journal type

The type of journal. The journal type determines what the journal is used for.
