Description

Fiscal LIFO reporting group

Enter an ID for the fiscal LIFO reporting group.

Name

Enter a name for the fiscal LIFO reporting group.

Individual

Select this check box to specify that items included in this group are calculated individually. For example, if specific items vary widely in price compared to other items, you can have these particular items calculated individually by adding them to this group.

Normal value calculation

Specify how fiscal LIFO is calculated for items in the current reporting group.

  • Never – The normal value is never calculated for this group.

  • Automatic – If the deviation percentage is exceeded, the normal value is applied. The normal value is then set to the average purchase price of items for the calculation period (month, quarter, or half year).

Set the deviation percentage and the calculation period on the General tab of the Inventory parameters form.

  • Manual – The normal value that you enter in the Normal value field is applied as the value of items in the current group.

Note

For items that are calculated individually, the normal value options are set on the individual item in the Released product details form.

Normal value

Enter the value that should apply to items as their normal value when you select Manual in the Normal value calculation field.
