Server Configuration > Mailbox (RTM)

Use the Mailbox node under Server Configuration to display a list of all servers in the organization that have the Mailbox server role installed and to perform actions specific to that server role.

You can use a variety of expressions to filter the list to focus on a set of servers with specific attributes. For more information about filters, see How to Filter the Result Pane.

Note

To modify how server configuration objects are displayed in the MMC, click View in the action pane. For more information about view options, see Server Configuration (RTM).

Server Configuration Objects in the Result Pane

When you select the Mailbox node under Server Configuration, the result pane displays your Mailbox servers. When you select one of these servers, the action pane displays the actions that you can perform on the selected server. The actions available for the server are listed under the server's name. For more information about the actions available for a server, see Server Configuration > Server (RTM).

Server Configuration Objects in the Work Pane

The Database Management tab in the work pane lists all the storage groups and databases that exist on the selected server. When you select an item that is displayed on the Database Management tab, the action pane displays additional actions. The actions available are listed under the storage group or database name.
