Get-IMAPSettings (RTM)

The Get-IMAPSettings cmdlet displays the properties of a single Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Client Access server that is running the Internet Message Access Protocol Version 4 Rev 1 (IMAP4) service.

Syntax

Get-ImapSettings [-DomainController <Fqdn>] [-Server <ServerIdParameter>]

Detailed Description

The Get-IMAPSettings cmdlet lets you view the settings for the IMAP4 service that is running on an Exchange 2007 Client Access server. Information can only be returned about servers that are located in the Exchange organization from which the cmdlet is being run.

To run the Get-IMAPSettings cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:

  • Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server

DomainController

Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Fqdn

To specify the fully qualified domain name of the domain controller that retrieves data from the Active Directory directory service, include the DomainController parameter in the command.

Server

Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.ServerIdParameter

If this parameter is specified, the cmdlet returns an individual Client Access server in your organization for which you are specifying IMAP settings.
