Microsoft Dynamics Marketing enables you to prepare Media Sales Order for clients.

Media Sales Orders contain different information than 'regular' Invoices. 'Regular' Proforma Invoices cannot combine media and non-media items; Media Proforma Invoices cannot combine media and non-media items. More information: Prepare invoices for clients for items, services and media

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing enables you to prepare Sales Orders. Sales Orders are similar to 'regular' Invoices but don't post to the General Ledger.

Go to Assets & Media > Media Buying > Sales Orders.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays all your Media Sales Orders.

  1. Select the media sales order you want to copy by clicking its check box Check box symbol.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing prompts you to specify the Contact the media sales order is for.

  2. Select a contact.

    Click OK.

    Click the CopyCopy button button.

  3. Click OK.

Sales Orders can't be deleted but they can be voided. This ensures that once a media sales order is created there is a permanent record of that Sales Orders. When a media sales order is voided, the prices of all items are set to zero and the status of the Invoice is set to Void.

  1. Select the sales order you want to delete by clicking on its check box Check box symbol.

  2. Click the DeleteDelete button button.

  3. Click OK.

  1. Click the Search/Filter button to toggle from Search (default) to Filter.

  2. Select the information you want to use as a filter by clicking on the Filter On pull-down menu.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays the filter categories that are available.

  3. Click the Value pull-down to choose the value that you want to filter on.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing applies the filter and displays the information that matches.

  4. Select a date range, or enter a custom date range.

  5. Click Go or press enter on your keyboard.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays the results that match the filter criteria.

Click any column heading to sort the list using in alphabetical order; click it again to sort the list in reverse alphabetical order.

  1. Click the Customize ColumnsCustomize Columns button button to display the complete list of columns.

  2. Click the column you want to add or remove.

  3. Repeat for each column.

Click and drag any column heading to move the column to its new location or adjust its width.

  • Enter a word, phrase or part of a word into the search bar.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketingdisplays all the media sales orders that contain the word, phrase, or part of a word you entered. Enter the shortest possible phrase to find the most messages.

Or,

  • Enter a word, phrase or part of a word into one or more of the search fields above each column.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketingdisplays all the media sales orders that contain the word, phrase, or part of a word you entered in the field. If you enter information in two or more fields, Microsoft Dynamics Marketingsearches for media sales orders that contain the word, phrase, or part of a word you entered in both fields.

  • Click Clear to remove the filter.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing removes the filter and displays all media sales orders.
