Create new markets and market segments

Marketers target groups of people who are likely to buy their Products and services. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing enables you to define your target markets any way you choose to. You can combine demographic, psycho graphic and geographic characteristics to define your markets.

To create a new market:

  1. Click the New button. New button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing opens the new Market page.

  2. Enter the information.

    Active

    Inactive markets are no longer available for use. (Optional)

    Name

    Enter the name of the market.  Required.

    Description

    Enter a description of the market. (Optional)

Click the Market Segments tab to view all the market segments available in a market.

Click the Media Outlets tab to view all the media outlets available in a market.

Click the Advertising tab to see all the media used in a market. More information: Create media expense items
