Microsoft Dynamics Marketing is scheduled to be retired on May 15, 2018. After that date the service will no longer be available. Please plan accordingly. For details, see the customer FAQ. Many media outlets (such as mailing lists, email lists, inserts) enable you to specify which postal (in the US - zip codes) codes you want to use. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing enables you to define and track postal/zip codes for media outlets, rates and orders.  

Postal codes are available in the Professional and Enterprise Editions to Media Buying Option users. Users must also have the Postal Codes User Role.

Choose Home > Settings > Media > Postal Codes.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays all the postal codes set up in Microsoft Dynamics Marketing.


Users can enter postal codes or they can be bulk loaded by Technical Support. Contact Support for more information.

  1. Click the New button New button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing opens a blank row for the new postal code.

  2. Enter the information. More information: Create and view postal or zip codes

  1. Select the postal codes you want to delete or deactivate by clicking on their check boxes.

  2. Click the Delete button Delete button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing prompts you to confirm the deletion.

  3. Click OK.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing marks the postal codes inactive.

Click the Show All button Show All/Active Only button.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing display inactive and deleted postal codes in the grid. The Show All button Show All/Active Only button toggles to Hide Inactive/Deleted button to indicate that inactive or deleted postal codes are being displayed.

Click any column heading to sort the list using in alphabetical order; click it again to sort the list in reverse alphabetical order.

  1. Click the Customize Columns button Customize Columns button to display the complete list of columns.

  2. Click the column you want to add or remove.

  3. Repeat for each column.

Click and drag any column heading to move the column to its new location or adjust its width.

  • Enter a word, phrase, or part of a word into the Search bar.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays all the items that contain the word, phrase, or part of a word you entered. Enter the shortest possible phrase to find the most items.


  • Type a word, phrase or part of a word into one or more of the Search fields above each column.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays all the items that contain the word, phrase, or part of a word you entered in the field. If you enter information in two or more fields, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing searches for items that contain the word, phrase, or part of a word you entered in both fields.

  • To filter by column, click the Filter button Filter button, enter a value in the search box, and then pick a filtration type (starts with, ends with, contains, etc.).

Click the Filter button Filter button and select ‘No Filter.’
