Add items to a media plan

Media Plans consist of a header which contains general information about the Media Plan, the Media Plan Item Grid. The Media Plan Item Grid contains the individual items - spots, insertions, banners, etc. - that make up the Media Plan.  Once the descriptive information about a Media Plan has been entered - it's name, start date, description, etc. - the Plan's details - line items - for all the Media can be added. Be sure to visit the following

  1. Choose Home > Assets & Media > Media Planning > Media Plans.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays Media Plans.

  2. Click the Media Plan you want to work with.

  3. Click the New button  New button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing opens the Media Plan Item page in a separate browser window (or tab, depending upon your settings).

    The Media Plan Item page is designed to be left 'open' and as you add items to the grid or edit items the Media Plan Item page can be used to edit each one. When the Media Plan Item page is used to save items, the Media Plan is updated asynchronously.

  4. Enter the information.

  5. Click Submit. More information: Media plan item fields.
