Marketing best practices suggest using Briefs to describe events in detail. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing provides a flexible brief function.  

  1. Click the Brief tab.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays all the sections of the brief that have already been completed.

  2. To enter a new section, click the New buttonNew button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing opens Details page.

  3. Make a selection from the drop-down menu and type the required information.

  4. Click Submit.


You must have an Administrator’s role to set up the brief sections.

  1. On the Home tab, choose Settings.

  2. Under Business Administration, choose Categories.

  3. Select Event Brief.

  4. Enter the information.
