From time to time, it may be necessary to track credits due to you for errors or omissions. Sometimes these are in the form of additional advertisements, names, clicks or spots at no charge. “Make Goods” are typically placements to make up for placements that were ordered but not run or that were run improperly.

  • Adjust the quantity of the ads to reflect the actual # of ads run and their price.

  • Create a new order to reflect the schedule and pricing of the “make good” placements. (OR) Adjust the quantity of the ads to reflect the actual # of ads run and their price.

  • Create a new item to reflect the new ads at a zero price.

You can enter and track credits by creating an expense and entering the amount credit in the credit field on the item.
