View and create new media bookings

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing provides powerful and easy to use Media Booking functions that enable users to quickly create Bookings for clients to reserve Media Inventory until the Booking is invoiced. More information: Media invoices.

To work with media bookings, you must have Edit/View Bookings privileges. More information: Work with user accounts and staff contacts.

  1. On the Media Bookings page, click the New New button button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing opens the new Media Booking page.

  2. Enter the information.

    Field

    Description

    Status

    Select a status for the invoice. (Optional). More information: Create custom drop-down values and folders.

    Ordered For

    Enter the Ordered for Contact.

    Company

    Select the bill to company the invoice is for from the pull-down menu.

    PO #

    Enter the Purchase Order # from the client. (Optional).

    Prepared by

    Select a contact.

    Rep

    Select a sales rep contact from the pull-down menu.

    Memo

    Enter additional information. (Optional).

    Date

    Enter the date the Booking was prepared.

    Terms

    Select the credit terms that apply from the pull-down menu. (Optional).

    Tax Rate

    Select the tax rate that applies to the Booking. (Optional).

    Currency

    Select the currency used in the Booking.

  3. Click Save.

The Items grid displays all the Items included in the Booking. More information: View and create new booking items.

  1. Select the Item(s) you want to delete by clicking on their check boxes Check box symbol.

  2. Click the Delete Delete button button.

  3. Click OK.

  1. Click the Print Print button button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays the Booking ready to print in a pop-up browser window.

  2. Click Print Print button again.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing opens a Print window to enable you to select the printer you want to use and other printing details.
