Use events to manage and plan marketing activities that take place at a specific venue or location. You can easily manage your events with Microsoft Dynamics Marketing.

  1. On the Home tab, click Marketing Execution.

  2. Under Event Management, click Events.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays all events where the event's status is not canceled or completed, and, you are a member of the event's team.

  1. Type a word or phrase into the search bar.

  2. Click Go.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing searches for events where the name, description, ID number, or code match the information you entered.

  • Click any column heading to sort the list using in alphabetical order; click it again to sort the list in reverse alphabetical order.

  1. Click the Search/Filter button to toggle from Search (default) to Filter.

  2. Select the information you want to use as a filter by clicking on the Filter pull-down menu.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays the filter categories that are available.

  3. Click the Value pull-down to choose the value that you want to filter by.  

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing applies the filter and displays the information that matches.

  4. Select a date range, or enter a custom date range.

  5. Click Go.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing displays the events that match the filter criteria.

  • Click Clear to apply the filter button. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing applies the filter and displays the information that matches.

  • Click the All Events folder.

To change an event from one folder to another:

  1. Open the event you want to move.

  2. Click the Change folder button.

  3. Enter information and click OK.

  1. Click the New Event button. New button.

  2. Enter the information

  3. Click Submit.

  1. Select the check box for each event you want to copy.

  2. Click the Copy button Copy button.

  3. Click OK.

  1. Select the check box for each event you want to delete.

  2. Click the Delete button Delete button.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing prompts you to confirm the deletion.

  3. Click OK.

    Microsoft Dynamics Marketing deletes the item(s).
