Microsoft Dynamics Marketing is scheduled to be retired on May 15, 2018. After that date the service will no longer be available. Please plan accordingly. For details, see the blog post Microsoft Dynamics Marketing service will be discontinued, and learn what’s coming next.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing provides powerful tools to help manage your inventory of available Media Assets (often called Ad Inventory). The Inventory Availability Gantt chart displays available Asset Units in a Gantt chart format. The  Inventory Availability Gantt chart makes it easy to visually see what's available and to create Bookings for available Units.

In Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Media Inventory consists of 'active' Media Asset Units, whether or not the Unit is unbooked, fully booked, back ordered, etc.

To work with the inventory availability Gantt chart, you must have Edit/View Bookings privileges. More information: Work with user accounts and staff contacts.

To access the Gantt chart, go to Assets & Media > Asset Management > Asset Availability. This brings you to the Availability page, which displays a Gantt chart of your assets and their bookings. Each asset is displayed on a row; colors indicate whether the asset is available, reserved, or backordered.

To create a booking from the chart, click the mark boxes next to the assets you want to book and then select the New Booking button from the toolbar. More information: View media bookings.
