If you’d like to schedule large numbers of advertisements, use the Ad Scheduling page in Microsoft Dynamics Marketing.

Go to Assets & Media. > Media Buying > Ad Scheduler.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing uses the term Component for all advertisement forms - TV commercials, radio spots, direct mail pieces, email messages, display advertisements, banner advertisements, search engine listings, etc. More information: Components and packs

You can sequence advertisements so that you can specify what order each advertisement should appear in a series on the same date. To sequence advertisements:

  • For each unique date, enter numbers in the Sequence column to indicate the order in which ads should appear. If a single ads runs on each date, there is no need to sequence them; they will appear in date order.

  • If the advertisements run on separate dates, you can enter a separate series of sequence numbers (i.e. 1,2,3 for June 1 and 1,2,3 for June 2) or one series for both dates (1,2, 3 for June 1 and 4, 5, 6 for June 2. Microsoft Dynamics Marketing will re-sequence the advertisements if you change any sequence number when you click Save or Submit.

  • If desired, you can choose the campaign the advertisement belongs to. (Optional.)

  • Advertisements displays the creative (component) associated with the media order, expense, or invoice.

  • If a campaign is selected, and the Show All Advertisements box is not checked, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing will limit the list of available advertisements to those that have been associated with the campaign.

  1. Click the Invoices, Orders, Expenses check boxes.

  2. Click Go.

  1. Click the appropriate check boxes.

If a campaign is selected on any row, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing only displays advertisements (components) associated with the campaign. Click the Show all Advertisements check box to enable you to select any advertisement, not restricted to the selected campaign.

  2. Click Go.
