Set up programs

You can set up multiple programs to facilitate your diversified email marketing needs.

To work with programs, go to Marketing Execution > Campaign Management > Programs. This brings you to the Programs list page, which provides many of the standard controls for searching, sorting, filtering, adding, removing and viewing items in the list, plus other common features. Whenever you create or edit a program, the settings described in the following table are available.

Field

Description

ID

Once a program has been submitted or saved, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing assigns a unique ID to it.

Name

Enter a descriptive name for the program.

Status

Select a status from the pull down menu. You can add a new status to the drop-down list box. You can customize the collection of entries available in this drop-down if needed (see Create custom drop-down values and folders).

Type

Select the program type.

Company

Select the company that this campaign is for from the pull-down menu. If a default company has been set, the default company will be selected. You can add a new status to the drop-down list box.

Division

Select the division that this campaign is for, from the pull-down menu. More information: Set up divisions and departments to reflect your organization

Department

Select the department that this campaign is for from the pull-down menu. More information: Set up divisions and departments to reflect your organization

Description

Enter a description of the program.

Start Date

Select the program's start date from the calendar pop-up menu.

End Date

Select the program's end date from the calendar pop-up menu.

Lead Scoring Model

Displays the Lead Scoring Model for the campaign, if there is one. More information: Manage leads

Program Details

Enter all the details here about the campaign.

  1. Once you have saved your program at least once, you can go to the Details tab on the Program maintenance page, where you are able to view and add notes for your program.

  2. Click the New button New button on the button bar.

  3. Enter a title for the details you are about to enter.

  4. Type in the information.

  5. Click Submit.
