UI Element List

Element Name Description

URL

Enter the URL of the Live Smooth Streaming encoder (for example, https:// encoder_name) or publishing point (for example, https:// server_name/site_name/publishing_point_name.isml).

Note
The URL must begin with either the https:// or https:// URL prefix.

Typically, a Live Smooth Streaming encoder will deliver the encoded content through port 80. If the encoder delivers the encoded content through a different port, specify the port value in the URL (for example, https:// encoder_name:port).

The URL of a publishing point on another Live Smooth Streaming server must end with the .isml file name extension.

Credential

If the connection to the encoder or publishing point requires authentication, select the friendly name of the credential with the appropriate user name and password.
