Configure site structure (form)

Use this form to do the following:
Assign warehouses and work center groups to the sites where they are located
Specify the default warehouse you want to use when no warehouse is associated with a transaction
Designate a fallback warehouse
If a default warehouse is stored in the database for this company, the Default warehouse field may be populated with the stored value, but you can override it.
Note
When you designate a default warehouse, this must be a new warehouse. The warehouse name must not exist and must never have existed in the system.

Enter a name for the site. |
Warehouse |
This field shows the unique identifier assigned to the warehouse. |

This field shows the warehouse type. |

Select the site at which the warehouse is located. |
Site |
Select the site at which the work center is located. |
Default site |
Enter a unique identifier for the site that you want to assign to transactions for which no site or warehouse is assigned and cannot otherwise be deduced. This ID must not exist, and must never have existed in the system. |
Default site name |
This field shows the name of the default site. |
Default warehouse |
Enter a unique identifier for the warehouse that you want to assign to transactions for which no site or warehouse is assigned and cannot otherwise be deduced. This ID must not exist, and must never have existed in the system. |
Default warehouse name |
This field shows the name of the default warehouse. |
Fallback warehouse |
Select the warehouse that you want to use automatically when a warehouse is not provided for an order line by the user or as the default warehouse designated for the customer, vendor, or item. |
