Integration log (form)

Click System administration > Inquiries > Microsoft Project Server integration > Integration log.

Use this form to view and maintain integrated compound entities and their transactions.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Filters

Show entity type

Select the compound entity type that you want to view.

Show synchronization status

Select the synchronization status of the compound entity types that you want to view.

Transaction status

Select the transaction status of the transactions that you want to view.

View information about the selected compound entity type.

Refresh

Refresh the list to view all compound entity types. This list includes entity types that are currently being synchronized.

Transaction data

Open the Container view form, where you can view more data about the transaction.

Error log

View synchronization errors that have been logged for the selected transaction.

Actions

Open a menu that contains the following items:

  • Resynchronize – Resynchronize the selected transaction.

  • Cancel – Cancel the synchronization process.

Fields

Error

Identify entities for which a synchronization error has occurred.

Compound entity

The entity type. This can consist of one or more entities. For example, it could be a project that includes multiple activities.

Entity name

The name of the entity.

Entity ID

The identification of the entity.

Synchronization status (Entity tab)

Current synchronization status of the entity instance (Details tab)

View whether the entity is currently being synchronized.

Origin application ID

View whether the entity originated from Microsoft Dynamics AX or Project Server, and view the identification number that is assigned to the entity.

Table name

The name of the database table where information about the entity is stored. The table name is reported for resources, but not for projects.

Transaction date

The date on which the transaction occurred.

Transaction ID

The identification of the transaction.

Source application ID

View whether the selected transaction originated from Microsoft Dynamics AX or Project Server.

Target application ID

View whether the selected transaction will be synchronized into Microsoft Dynamics AX or Project Server.

Version

The version number of the entity.

Action

The action that will be performed on the selected entity.

User name

The name of the user who is responsible for synchronization.

User e-mail address

The e-mail address of the user who is responsible for synchronization.

User ID

The user identification of the user who is responsible for synchronization.

Number of synchronization attempts

The maximum number of times the synchronization queue will try to synchronize Microsoft Dynamics AX with Project Server before synchronization fails.

Sync. start date/time

The date on which the entity synchronization started.
